APPRAISAL
PHOTOGRAPHY
All thorough appraisals require photographs
or other types of imagery for documentation.
Julia Henri, ISA AM offers the finest professional level of photographic imagery included in the hourly appraisal fees.
She brings over two decades of experience working as
a photojournalist, evidence photographer, and commercial studio photographer for publications, museum and auction catalogues, as well as appraising.
Appraisal photographs are taken in natural light, with minimal equipment, and onsite. Backgrounds are removed or reduced, whereas the appraised items are never retouched.
Henri specializes in macro and color enhanced imagery. These photographs can identify artists's signatures or even tiny hallmarks that are not easily seen by the human eye or even with a jeweler's loop.
